Firefly Mobile launches its first smartphone for the year 2016 – the Firefly Mobile Intense Desire. It’s a 5.5-inch smartphone with an octa core processor for an official price of ₱6,499.00.
It also boasts 3GB of RAM, dual 4G LTE connectivity, a 13 Megapixel camera from Sony and a massive 3,350mAh Lithium-Polymer battery.
The 5.5-inch display of the Firefly Mobile Intense Desire has a resolution of 720 x 1280 Pixels. It’s an OGS panel covered by layer of scratch resistant Dragontrail glass.
It runs on MediaTek’s MT6753 SoC which is composed of a 1.3GHz octa core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720 graphics processor. There’s also 3GB of RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box that will surely make the smartphone operate smoothly with any game or app.

The 13 Megapixel rear camera of the Firefly Mobile Intense Desire uses a stacked CMOS image sensor from Sony (the Exmor RS IMX214) ensuring good quality pictures and videos. There’s also an 8 Megapixel camera on the front.
Storage is composed of 32GB built-in and an additional of up to 128GB via a micro-SD card. USB OTG is supported too.

The Firefly Mobile Intense Desire has a 3,550mAh battery which is non-removable but supports fast charging at 1.5 Amperes.
Its official price is ₱6,499.00 and comes with several freebies such as a silicone phone case and tempered glass screen protector with blue light filter. It’s now available nationwide.
