Although it is targeted for mid-range consumers, Lumia 625 packs high quality features that intrigued me.
Nokia Lumia 625’s display isn’t really that big. I can even say that I’m comfortable with the 4.7″ screen size. I think that’s the right size for Filipinos.
The display is IPS so you can expect high quality picture and wide viewing angle. It’s also a ‘Super sensitive touchscreen’ that allows your hand to control Lumia 625 while wearing gloves or mittens.
Nokia Lumia 625 has a semi transparent casing that you can swap with other colors like white, red, yellow or black. It’s a small detail but it surely looks nice.
The title of this section is Smart Camera App. That’s because Lumia 625 has a 5 MP rear camera only. That’s far from Lumia 1020’s 41 MP camera.
However, Lumia 625 has a similar Smart Camera app that let’s you create action shots, remove objects, blur backgrounds and capture the best smiles.
This is the most interesting feature of Nokia Lumia 625. With LTE, Lumia 625 has a maximum download speed of 100 Mbps and upload speed of 50 Mbps. Of course these all depend on the network and your location.
LTE gives rise to better experience like instant video watching without lags or waiting for the video to load and other apps that require an active internet connection will work smoothly.
Given the price of Nokia Lumia 625 abroad which is around $290, Filipinos can expect this LTE capable Windows 8 phone to be priced between ₱11,000.00 and ₱13,000.00.
Is it a good deal? Yes it is! The only downside with Nokia Lumia 625 is its camera which is saved by its amazing camera app.
Check out Lumia 625 when it arrives here in the Philippines between September to November.
Update: Nokia Lumia 625 is now available for ₱12,400 on Kimstore – just within our predicted price.
