iPhone 5C, C for Colors
I thought iPhone 5C is supposed to be a cheap iPhone but that’s not the real case. It’s just basically an iPhone 5 with a polycarbonate cover instead of aluminum. Polycarbonate is just a fancy term for a type of plastic.
There are a few differences though between iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C. One is the higher battery capacity, another is the iOS7 operating system and lastly, the 5 colors to choose from for iPhone 5C.
iPhone 5C Price and Availability in the Philippines
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
In the US, people can get an iPhone 5C for $99 monthly for 2 years. That already includes internet connection. If they don’t want a 2-year contract, they ca also get one for $549.
If we convert those figures to Philippine Peso, we have around ₱24,000 but this will go up to ₱28,000 for the 16GB and ₱32,000 for the 32GB version. Of course, the actual price of iPhone5C in stores and online retailers can vary but it will be around that figure.
Update: iPhone 5C is now available via Kimstore for ₱28,128.00.
Is that cheap? It certainly isn’t. But, Globe and Smart will surely offer iPhone 5C in their post paid promos.
