Cherry Mobile aims to provide affordable phones with great features. I can totally say that they’ve done a great job with Cherry Mobile Apollo.
When I got my hands on a Cherry Mobile Apollo, the thought of owning it immediately comes to my mind. It feels great to hold, looks sleek despite the plastic body, runs smoothly and takes very good photos. To top it all, it’s just ₱6,999.00!

Cherry Mobile Apollo’s high definition screen displays high quality graphics but some are complaining about backlight bleeding. Before you buy one, make sure you test the unit for backlight bleeding by putting the display to the highest brightness and check for uneven light or too bright edges of the screen.
One small detail that I like with Apollo is its circular capacitive Home button. You can’t see it above but it’s in the center with the Options Button on the left and Back button on the right.
Just like with my previous hands on reviews, I also checked Pinoy Techno Guide on Cherry Mobile Apollo. I turned on the WiFi hotspot of my own phone so that Apollo can connect to it and have internet access.
As far as I’ve observed, web browsing is snappy using the stock Android browser. That means Facebook, Viber and other apps should be smooth too.
Cherry Mobile Apollo can also deliver fast mobile internet browsing since it has HSDPA+ network access.

Cherry Mobile Apollo comes with the usual Cherry Mobile accessories – a micro USB charger, earphones, user manual and the Cherry Mobile Apollo unit itself.
One particular detail that is wrong in the box is the 1,800 mAh rating of its Li-ion battery. The actual battery inside the box is a 2,000 mAh cell.

I like Cherry Mobile Apollo very much that I highly recommend it to anyone. My girlfriend’s friend asked for a good affordable Android phone and I raised Cherry Mobile Apollo to her attention immediately.
Cherry Mobile Apollo’s best feature is its main camera and its quad core processor, high definition display and sleek design make it more desirable for its price: ₱6,999.
Take note, however, that there are a few features that Cherry Mobile Apollo doesn’t have like a scratch resistant screen.
