As promised, Cherry Mobile announced two new Android tablets today – Cherry Mobile Superion Discover and Voyager. The names make me think about space crafts 🙂
Both tablets run Android Jelly Bean and boast call and text functions. As expected, the two are priced cheaply at ₱3,999 and ₱4,999 respectively.

The complete specs of the two tablets haven’t been disclosed yet but from the announcement, here’s what we know:
For ₱3,999, Superion Discover gives you an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean experience on a 7-inch tablet. Aside from making calls and sending SMS, you can also use the tablet to connect to 3G networks for a faster mobile internet experience.
Just like Discover, Superion Voyager runs on Android Jelly Bean too but with a larger display at 8 inches and a resolution of 1024 x 768 Pixels.
It also has 3G connectivity for mobile internet and phone functions.
