Cherry Mobile introduced another first among the local mobile phone brands – waterproof and dustproof phones. They call it the Cherry Mobile U series.
Both Cherry Mobile U1 and U2 are IP67 certified. This means that they are totally protected against dust and can survive being submerged up to 1 meter under water for 30 minutes.

Cherry Mobile surely understands that these features are perfect for our lifestyle.
Sadly though, these are only basic phones, not Android smartphones. If these units performs well with us who are constantly threatened with the elements, IP67 certified smartphones will surely follow from Cherry Mobile.
