You’ve probably heard about the first Samsung Galaxy smartphone to feature a metal frame – the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Well, here’s another upcoming one called the Samsung Galaxy A5.
The Galaxy A5 is considered as a mid-range smartphone so it should cost considerably less than the Alpha. It does have a 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 400 processor, 13MP camera and 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot.
The expandable storage of the Samsung Galaxy A5 is a very welcome feature which is lacking on the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
The source of the Galaxy A5 pictures also clarified that it won’t have a metal back cover as opposed to the previous leaks. Instead, Samsung used a material that mimics metallic texture and overall feel.
A lot of people are interested with these Samsung smartphones with metal frame because the company has been using entirely plastic materials for the back and sides of its smartphones. They also look like iPhones for some.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 also has a 2GB of RAM, 5MP front camera, 3G HSPA+ network access as well as an LTE version, 2,330mAh battery and thin profile at 6.7mm only.
