A leaked document shows that Asus might release an Android 5.0 Lollipop software update for the Zenfone 4, 5 and 6 by April of next year.
This is a very good news for owners of any Asus Zenfone variant. It can be recalled that Asus also delivered the Android 4.4 Kitkat update for these smartphones this month – keeping true to its promise.
Android 5.0 Lollipop is the newest version of the Android operating system and features a revamped designed called Material Design which makes animations and transitions eye catchy but at the same time, with purpose.
Asus hasn’t made an official announcement regarding its plans for Android 5.0 Lollipop yet.
The Asus PadFoneS will also receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update together with the Zenfones while the new PadFone Infinity (A86) will get it by June of 2015.
