Cherry Mobile aptly named its newest smartphone as ‘Me’. It’s a quad core smartphone with 3G HSPA+ access that you’ll easily own for ₱2,999 only.
The processor wasn’t named but based on the presence of the Snapdragon Battery Guru App, it’s surely a Snapdragon chipset. It even runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has an 8MP camera!
The 3G HSPA+ feature of the Cherry Mobile Me should give you a decent mobile internet speed while browsing the web using the Free Internet promo of Smart, Sun and TNT. Checking out Facebook using a Globe SIM should also be smooth.
Even the display uses IPS technology so it should have good viewing angles. I’m not convinced that the 8MP camera has a true 8MP sensor though. It’s probably another software interpolated snapper.
The Cherry Mobile Me comes with 4GB of internal storage and another 32GB can be added via microSD. The amount of RAM wasn’t revealed though and is probably just 512MB.
