Starmobile’s newst flagship smartphone is a return to the very successful Starmobile Knight of 2013 – meet the Starmobile Knight X!
It boasts a lot of features that are never before seen in any locally branded smartphone such as a 2.0GHz octa core processor from MediaTek, 3GB of RAM and Dual 4G LTE.
The Starmobile Knight X has a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution or around 401 pixels per inch. This is protected by a layer of unspecified scratch resistant glass.
Its chipset is the MediaTek MT6595M composed of four 2.0GHz ARM Cortex-A17 cores and another four ARM Cortex A-7 cores clocked slightly slower at 1.7GHz. There’s also the PowerVR IMG Rogue G6200 as the graphics processor.
Coupled with the 3GB RAM, these chips should make the Starmobile Knight X perform as the fastest local smartphone in the Philippines!

The dual 4G LTE capability of the Starmobile Knight X is also intriguing. Most smartphones with 4G connectivity either have a single SIM slot only or with an extra one limited to 3G networks.
In terms of photography, the Starmobile Knight X has a 13MP autofocus main camera equipped with a Sony IMX135 sensor. This should give you high quality pictures and videos. There’s also a 5MP front facing camera for your selfies.
Starmobile even went further by fitting an Infrared blaster on the Starmobile Knight X. It also has NFC support, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GLONASS and of course, Wi-Fi.
Starmobile Knight X comes with 32GB of internal storage but apparently, there’s no microSD card slot. It’s 8.9mm thick and has a huge 3,350mAh battery.
It comes pre-installed with Starmobile Sync 2.0 that can transfer your contacts, messages, pictures, music and videos from an old smartphone.
Update: Starmobile officially priced the Knight X at ₱15,999.00.
