Starmobile introduced two new smartphones dubbed as StarmobileNEXTGEN devices with features that the company is the first to offer among the local brands.
First is the Starmobile Up Snap which is aptly named for its camera with ‘UltraPixels’ just like the HTC One. The other is the company’s new flagship smartphone – Starmobile Knight X with 4G LTE connectivity.
Aside from having 4G LTE, the Starmobile Knight X also has an octa core processor and 3GB of RAM which is another first among locally branded smartphones. It also supports NFC and has a 5.5-inch full HD scratch resistant display.
On the other hand, the Starmobile Up Snap is a mid-range photography centric smartphone with a huge 2,900mAh battery.
Starmobile also announced a new version of the Starmobile Sync app and a partnership with security software Dr. Safety.
