SKK Mobile announced a new 5-inch quad core smartphone called the SKK Illusion with a pair of 8MP and 2MP cameras.
It has an official suggested retail price of only ₱3,499 which will surely attract a lot of customers. However, its mere 512MB of RAM is a huge let down for hard core gamers.
Casual games will run just fine on the SKK Illusion. If you’re okay with playing just the likes of Candy Crush Saga and not NBA 2K15, this smartphone will be just fine. It’ll also have a smooth user interface since it uses Android 4.4 Kitkat as its operating system.
Its main attraction seems to be its cameras and the huge display for its price. The 8MP camera at the back should be sufficient while the 2MP front facing camera should produce good quality selfies.
It runs on a 1.3GHz quad core processor from MediaTek with Mali-400 MP2 for graphics processing.
The SKK Illusion is a dual SIM smartphone with 3G HSPA+ connectivity on SIM 1 while the other SIM card slot is limited to 2G networks. Of course, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
SKK also added several software features such as Smartwake and Air Gestures. Is this why they named it ‘Illusion’?
SKK Illusion comes with a 1,900mah battery and is available in black, white and gold.
