You may now own a Cherry Mobile Cosmos Force through Cherry Angel, a retailer of Cherry Mobile products who was also the first to reveal this smartphone.
The Cherry Mobile Cosmos Force features a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor from Qualcomm which is the first of its kind among local brands and also provides it with 4G LTE connectivity.
The Cherry Mobile Cosmos Force uses a somewhat unusual screen size of 5.26 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 720 x 1280 Pixels. This is protected by a layer of DragonTrail glass against scratches.
It runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and is said to be Android 5.0 Lollipop ready. Hopefully, a software update will be available very soon.
There’s 1GB of RAM to take care of multi-tasking and 16GB of onboard storage space for your files. It doesn’t seem to have a microSD card slot though. Nevertheless, USB OTG is supported should you need to store more videos on an external USB drive.
A similar looking smartphone with most likely the same OEM as the Cosmos Force. |
For photography needs, an 18MP snapper is found at the back coupled with an LED flash. An 8MP camera is found at the front and both cameras uses sensors with Backside Illumination technology for better quality pictures in low light.
A similar looking smartphone from Thailand has a built-in mobile TV but the Cherry Mobile Cosmos Force seems to lack that.
A 2,500mAh battery powers the device and you can own it for ₱6,999 – a very good deal!
