A quick look at Cherry Mobile’s current list of smartphones reveals a new model called Cherry Mobile Volt with an official price of only ₱2,299.
The Cherry Mobile Volt offers a 4-inch display, 1GHz dual core processor, 5MP camera, up to 64GB compatible microSD card slot and Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out of the box.
Cherry Mobile Volt is just another cheap smartphone with unremarkable specs. It does have a Mali-400 graphics processor but it won’t be able to run hardcore games. Casual games will run just fine though.
The amount of RAM hasn’t been revealed but don’t keep your hopes up. It’s most probably at 512MB. There’s dual 3G connectivity though but a mere 1,200mAh battery.
Nevertheless, it’s another choice for you to consider if you’re looking for a Kitkat smartphone with good enough specs at a budget price.
