After months of waiting, Starmobile finally revealed the price of the Starmobile Up Snap to be ₱5,990. Do you think this price is fair enough?
Starmobile Up Snap boasts the use of UltraPixel technology. That means it has larger photo-sensitive units enabling it to gather more light which results in better quality pictures.
The 8MP rear camera of the Starmobile Up Snap uses UltraPixel technology while its 5MP front facing snapper is of the ordinary type. Both are autofocus though so you’ll enjoy blur free selfies.
What makes people doubt the Starmobile Up Snap is its chipset – a Broadcomm BCM23550M with a quad core CPU all clocked at 1.2GHz. Broadcomm chips doesn’t match up to the stability and app compatibility as Qualcomm or even MediaTek chips.
Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a smartphone with superb imaging capabilities and you don’t spend much time in playing hard core games, the Starmobile Up Snap will serve you well.
The Starmobile Up Snap gathers dual SIM capability, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB On the Go support in one package.
It also has a battery rated at 2,900mAh which is certainly more than enough given that its 5-inch display only has a resolution of 480 x 854 Pixels.
Each Starmobile Up Snap box also comes with a free InstaCase and screen protector.
