Microsoft unveiled the cheapest Lumia smartphone yet – the 4-inch Lumia 430 with a price tag of $70 only. That’s around ₱3,000 when converted to Philippine Peso!
The Lumia 430 runs on a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB of RAM. It also comes with 8GB of on-board storage and supports 3G HSPA+ networks.
Microsoft aims to win more customers for its affordable Lumia smartphones in emerging markets such as the Philippines. The Lumia 430 will be available in the country by the end of April 2015.
Its cheap price doesn’t come without any sacrifice though. First, the main camera is just 2MP and the front snapper is a mere VGA. Nevertheless, this is better than none and should have decent quality.
It does support dual SIM functionality and micro SD cards up to 128GB. A 1,500mAh battery powers the device.
