Several months after it was first announced, Microsoft has finally made its Hyperlapse app available to download for Android, Windows Phone and Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.
The application processes time lapse videos to smoothen and stabilize them out for a more enjoyable watch. As Microsoft puts it, first person videos of a bicycle ride or long hikes will never look the same!
Lastly, Microsoft is also offering Hyperlapse as a service using Microsoft Azure for the cloud. Some video related apps might soon tap into this.
No iOS version for the moment but Instagram can be used as a substitute. iPhone users can also take videos and process them using the Windows PC Hyperlapse app.
