Starmobile’s first Android Lollipop device is an affordable 5-inch quad core smartphone under the entry level Jump series – the Starmobile Jump Neo.
It offers a bigger screen compared to current Android One devices in the country. At the same time, it also has 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 3G connectivity and 8GB of internal storage.
Starmobile highlights the new features of Android 5.0 Lollipop that users will experience with the Jump Neo. This includes Material Design, screen pinning and Power Saving function among others.
However, the company must ensure that this smartphone will be updated to whatever new version of Android that will come out in the next two years to be on par with Android One devices.
Nevertheless, the Starmobile Jump Neo has a 2,400mAh battery – good enough for a day of casual use. As usual, freebies are included in the package.
