Motorola’s flagship smartphone for 2015 focuses on aesthetics and functionality – the aptly named Motorola Moto X Style.
It has a huge 5.7-inch quad HD display which occupies almost the entire front panel. What’s left of the space belongs to the front camera with its own LED flash, sensors and stereo speakers!
The Motorola Moto X Style isn’t called as such without reason. It comes in several color options of finely textured silicone back covers as well as wood and rubber. There are even three frame colors to choose from.
Unlike the OnePlus 2, Motorola followed the LG G4 and used the Snapdragon 808 chipset instead of the 810 due to the latter’s heating problems.
This gives the Motorola Moto X Style with two CPU cores running at 1.8GHz and four running at 1.44GHz with Adreno 418 for graphics, 3GB of RAM to ease multi-tasking and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as the OS.

At the back of the Motorola Moto X Style is a 21MP camera with dual tone LED flash. Three storage options are available – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. A microSD slot for up to 128GB memory cards is also on-board.
Connectivity features include dual band Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and 4G LTE. There’s no USB Type-C port but it still supports USB OTG.
A 3,000mAh battery powers the device with a bundled quick charger. Pricing starts at $399 or around ₱18,000 in the US. It will be available starting on September 2015 but it isn’t clear when it will reach the Philippines.
