Starmobile introduced a first of its kind smartphone dubbed the Up Neo that has a total of four LEDs that’s serve as camera flash – three at the back and one on the front!
The number of LEDs coupled with the 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera makes the Starmobile Up Neo a mobile photography powerhouse aside from being a good smartphone.
The Starmobile Up Neo has a not too large and not too small 5.3-inch screen with HD resolution. It measures 8.25mm in thickness and comes in black or gold.
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6592M runs the show with an octa core CPU clocked at 1.4GHz together with a Mali-450 MP4 graphics processor and 1GB of RAM.
Its user interface, especially the on-screen buttons, looks like Android Lollipop but it’s only Android 4.4 Kitkat.
On the plus side, the Starmobile Up Neo has an IR blaster which enables it to act as a universal remote for your appliances.
It’s a dual SIM smartphone with 3G connectivity, 16GB of built-in storage space and powered by a 2,500mAh battery.
It retails for ₱6,490.00 and comes with a free instacase and two screen protectors at different Starmobile outlets nationwide.
