Following the weirdly named Omega 3, Cherry Mobile boasts a reinvention of its Omega series with the Cherry Mobile Omega 4G.
True to its name, this one features 4G LTE connectivity along with what the company calls ‘high-end’ features. These include a 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Cherry Mobile Omega 4G has a 5-inch HD display, 13MP camera at the back and 5MP camera on the front. Both cameras are paired with an LED flash.
It runs on a relatively new chipset from MediaTek, the MT6735M. While this uses 64-bit Cortex-A53 CPUs, the maximum clock speed is only 1.0GHz. It does have a good graphics processor, the Mali-T720 MP2.
Hopefully, this processor performs well when working with 2GB of RAM and Android Lollipop as the operating system.

The Cherry Mobile Omega 4G is a dual SIM smartphone but only the first SIM can connect to 4G LTE networks and let the user enjoy fast mobile internet speed.
There’s 16GB of on-board storage and a 2000mAh battery. It’s not yet clear if the former is expandable nor if the latter is removable.
Its official price is ₱5,999.00 and is now available in several Cherry Mobile outlets.
