Cherry Mobile has made its Flare series of smartphones premium by adding real metal sides starting with the Cherry Mobile Flare 4.
It’s a 5-inch HD smartphone with an octa core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera, 4G LTE connectivity and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system for an official SRP of ₱4,999 only!
The Cherry Mobile Flare 4 has a curvy design making it easier to handle. However, it’s bezels make it look bigger than a typical 5 incher.
It’s protected by a layer of scratch resistant Dragontrail glass with slightly curved edges called 2.5D which makes swiping from the edges smoother.
Performance is handled by a 1.3GHz octa core processor from MediaTek paired with 2GB of RAM. This is the same setup as the Alcatel Flash 2.

The Cherry Mobile Flare 4 is equipped with a 13 Megapixel camera at the back and another 5 Megapixel snapper on the front. Both have BSI image sensors for improved low light picture quality. The front camera also comes with several selfie enhancements.
It’s a dual SIM smartphone and both SIM slots can connect to 4G LTE networks. There’s 16GB of expandable storage and a 2,100mAh battery.
It will be available starting on the third week of October 2015. If the design isn’t your type, the company also has the Flare S4 with the same specs but with a more compact looking body.
