Cherry Mobile has a new ‘smartwatch’ called the Cherry Watch N5 has an official price of ₱1,999.00 only. It can act as a smartphone dialer via Bluetooth or send text messages on its own since it has a single SIM slot!
However, its resemblance to the Apple Watch can’t be denied – from the square face, rounded edges, sleep/wake button and even the crown.
The Cherry Watch N5 has a 1.54-inch IPS display of an undisclosed resolution and a microSD card slot that can read up to 32GB memory cards.
There’s also VGA camera although I’m not sure if it will be useful. It does have a Pedometer enabling it to track how many steps the user has taken.
Interestingly, Anti-Theft is listed in its features. I’ll update this post if this applies to the paired smartphone.
