A new mobile phone company is testing its luck here in the Philippines, the Lenovo backed Z.U.K. with its ZUK Z1 smartphone.
This one boasts ‘flagship features’ at a relatively affordable price. For ₱15,299, it offers a 5.5-inch full HD display, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, Cyanogen OS and a massive 4,100mAh battery!
As previously mentioned, the ZUK Z1 runs on Cyanogen OS which provides stock Android Lollipop user interface but with additional, useful features. A Marshmallow update is also in the works.
Photography is handled by a 13 Megapixel main camera with Optical Image Stabilization at the back and an 8MP selfie snapper at the front.

The ZUK Z1 has two nano SIM slots and can connect to 4G LTE networks. Dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 are also present.
It comes with plenty of storage space at 64GB although there’s no microSD card slot. USB OTG is supported through a USB Type-C adaptor.

Its home button doubles as a finger print sensor while the 4,100mAh battery can last up to two days on a single charge and supports fast charging.
