Kata Digital’s new affordable smartphone called the Kata V4 is now available here in the country and has an official price of ₱2,699.00 only.
It’s 4.5 inch quad core handset with a special button at the back. It looks like a fingerprint sensor but simply functions in unlocking the phone, taking pictures or opening the camera app directly from sleep.
The Kata V4’s display has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, One Glass Solution (OGS) technology and 2.5D curved edge glass on top. It’s not scratch resistant though.
It runs on MediaTek’s MT6580 chipset with a 1.3GHz quad core CPU, Mali-400 graphics processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop as the operating system.
There’s an 8MP camera at back, 5MP selfie shooter, 8GB of expandable storage and a meager 1800mAh battery.
