MyPhone’s push for digital TV equipped smartphones might be a wrong move for the company. Case in point – the new MyPhone my72 DTV.
While watching TV shows on the go is a great feature, there is still a large portion of the country without digital TV signals. On the other hand, the disappointing 512MB of RAM affects all of its users.
The MyPhone my72 DTV comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. This means the user interface should be smooth enough. However, playing resource-intensive games may be frustrating.
It runs on a 1.2GHz quad core processor with 4GB of internal storage. There’s a 5MP main camera, 2MP selfie snapper and 3G connectivity. A 2000mAh battery powers the device.
Hopefully, the company can offer the DTV feature along with good specs for a reasonable price for its future phones.
