Qualcomm accidentally published an article about an upcoming smartphone called the ASUS ZenFone AR that uses the company’s Snapdragon 821 chipset.

The smartphone needs the powerful chip because it features Tango, Google’s 3D mapping technology allowing devices to ‘know’ its surroundings, and Daydream which is the search giant’s virtual reality platform.

Sadly, the rest of the specs and features of the ASUS ZenFone AR haven’t been revealed. We can only gather from the image above that it has 4G LTE connectivity, dual LED flash and possibly, a fingerprint sensor.

It was Lenovo that released the first Tango-enabled smartphone called the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro but this one comes with both Tango and Daydream. Some VR applications that are already compatible with Daydream are Google’s Street View, YouTube and Need for Speed.

We’ll post another article ones more details about the ASUS ZenFone AR smartphone comes out. The company is poised to make the device official as CES 2017 in Las Vegas.
