If you thought the tablet market is declining, Samsung says you’re wrong. The company just launched the Samsung Tab S3 at MWC2017 with high-end specs, stylus support and an overall focus on productivity.
The Samsung Tab S3 has a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display in a 6mm thin body. It has a metallic frame and glass panels for both the front and back.
Its bundled S-Pen is slightly larger than the one that comes with the Note series but works in a similar fashion. Students and business people looking for the quickest way to take notes in a meeting should take a look at it.
There’s also a convenient way of attaching a keyboard dock to the Samsung Tab S3 for easier typing. However, this is sold separately.
Samsung added several features to Android Nougat to enhance productivity. There’s multi-window support and all the S Pen features such as Air Command.
A quad core Snapdragon 820 processor runs the show with 4GB of RAM. Built-in storage amounts to 32GB, a microSD card slot is present and a huge 6000mAh battery provides the power.
The Samsung Tab S3 comes with a 13 Megapixel camera at the back with an LED flash. It also has a 5 Megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Hardcore gamers are also assured of great performance. Even the audio quality was given enough attention. There’s a total of four speakers on the tablet and their output has been tuned by AKG.
Pricing and availability are yet to be revealed.
