Xaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. It still has the original’s huge display with the addition of a massive two-day battery.
We’re talking about a 5300mAh battery that also supports quick charging. This is perfect since its 6.44 inch full HD screen definitely needs that power.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is equipped with a 12 Megapixel rear camera from Sony. This is accompanied by phase detection autofocus and a dual tone LED flash. It also has a 5 Megapixel selfie camera with wide field of view.
It’s a dual SIM smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs on a Snapdragon 625 chipset. There are two storage options – 64GB and 128GB. Both variants have 4GB of RAM.
As a smartphone with huge display and massive battery, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is perfect for multimedia consumption. It even has stereo loudspeakers for added entertainment value.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has an official price of RMB 1,699.00 in China. That translates to around $235 or ₱12,300.00 only! This is for the cheapest storage variant.
However, there’s no news yet about its availability outside its home country.
