ASUS Philippines officially launches the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus (M1) smartphone in the country on January 14, 2018.
It’s the company’s first smartphone with an 18:9 display. It also lives up to the ‘Max’ moniker by having a massive 4130mAh battery.
The ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M1 is being marketed with the tagline ‘The Battery King with Full View Display’.
It has a standby time of up to 26 days while connected to a 4G network according the official ASUS website. Meanwhile, 3G talk time is estimated at 26 hours and Wi-Fi browsing at 21 hours.

The ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M1 also has a dual camera system at the back. It’s composed of a 16 Megapixel main camera and an 8 Megapixel wide angle secondary camera. This enables bokeh effect and instant switching to normal or wide angle mode.
Its display is a 5.7-inch IPS panel with a Full HD+ resolution or 1080 x 2160 pixels. Hence, previewing photos and consuming multimedia content should be enjoyable.
Aside from a fingerprint sensor at the back of the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M1. It also supports Face Recognition for unlocking.
However, it only uses the front camera to identify your face so it won’t work in dark environments.
The official price of the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M1 in the Philippines is ₱11,995.00. It’s being promoted by the newly announced Zenfone Philippines Brand Ambassador, actor Gerald Anderson.
