HMD Global has officially announced the Nokia 3310 4G version in China. It maintains the design of the 2G and 3G versions of the new Nokia 3310 but with an Android-based operating system called YunOS.
However, it doesn’t allow installing apps from an app store nor has a touchscreen. It does have a built-in web browser and Wi-Fi connectivity so a hotspot function might be supported.
Nokia 3310 4G Features
The Nokia 3310 4G has a 2.4 inch color display, 2 Megapixel camera with LED flash, 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage. There’s a microSD card slot for up to 64GB memory cards.
Meanwhile, its 4G connectivity includes VoLTE which means calls can use LTE networks, not just mobile data. There’s also Bluetooth 4.0 but with just a single SIM card slot.
It’s powered by a 1200mAh battery that can last up to 12 days if the phone is idle.
Price and Availability
Pricing hasn’t been revealed yet. Availability starts in China before February 2018 ends but there’s no definite date for the rest of the world including here in the Philippines.
