OPPO Philippines finally unveiled the more affordable sibling of the F7 smartphone – the OPPO F7 Youth.
Surprisingly, it’s still powered by the MediaTek Helio P20 with 4GB of RAM making it just as smooth. One glaring difference is its lack of a fingerprint sensor which is remedied by the presence of face recognition.
The OPPO F7 Youth also has a 6-inch display with FHD+ resolution, rounded corners and minimal bezels.
For photography, it’s equipped with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus and an 8 Megapixel front camera that uses an image sensor from Sony. Built-in storage is 64GB while a microSD card slot is present.
It’s a dual SIM smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity and Android Oreo OS out of the box. A 3400mAh battery powers the device although there’s still a microUSB 2.0 port instead of the newer USB Type-C interface.
The official price of the OPPO F7 Youth in the Philippines is ₱13,990.00.
Pre-orders for the device starts on May 28, 2018 and each purchase comes with a FREE Olike Magic Music Lamp.
