Huawei is set to launch a new smartphone in the Philippines that seems to be a successor to the very successful Huawei Nova 2i.
It has the same quad camera feature with two cameras at the back and another two cameras on the front but with a design similar to the newer Huawei P20 Lite smartphone.
Huawei recently posted the image above in its Weibo official page showing the upcoming Nova 3 smartphone with exactly the same features.
Meanwhile, fellow tech blogger Jam Ancheta spotted an advertisement in Glorietta pointing to a July 28 launch date and a hint that it’s about the same device.
This means we will soon witness the unveiling of the year’s most popular midrange smartphone.
Update: A photo of a promotional material has virtually confirmed that the upcoming device is the Huawei Nova 3i. It’s difference compared to the Nova 3 is in storage – a whooping 128GB!
According to several leaks, the Huawei Nova 3 will feature a notched 6.3-inch FHD+ display. Its dual rear cameras will be composed of a 24 Megapixel main camera and 16 Megapixel secondary camera while the dual front cameras are 24 Megapixels and 2 Megapixels.
It will be powered by a Kirin 710 chipset with 4GB of RAM and EMUI 8.2. There’s also 4G LTE connectivity, a fingerprint sensor as well as face recognition.
Lastly, it packs a 3650mAh battery and a USB Type-C port.
