I’ve been using the Realme C1 smartphone for several days now. It’s the hottest new brand that has entered the Philippines this year.
Is it a truly remarkable smartphone? While I reserve my full judgment until my full review, here are five features that make it the #RealEntryLevelKing.
The Realme C1 has a massive 4230mAh battery ensuring more than a day of battery life on a single charge with casual usage.
Smartphones with large batteries at this price point are difficult to find. Some of these are the OPPO A3s with a slightly higher price tag and the Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Power with lesser performance.
At an official price of ₱5,990, the Realme C1 is already pretty affordable. Still, the company wants to win the hearts of Filipinos and offers the device at a discounted price of ₱4,490 during its first online flash sale as well as on Lazada’s 12.12 SALE from December 10 to 12, 2018.
Furthermore, the device can be owned at even lower prices by using Lazada Wallet or credit card with promos.
Lots of Filipino smartphone consumers are looking for affordable smartphones that can run popular games such as Mobile Legends.
The Realme C1 can run most popular games smoothly at medium graphics quality since it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. Most entry-level devices opt for a MediaTek chip that can only run games smoothly at low graphics quality.
Another feature that makes the Realme C1 very attractive is its design, especially its 6.2-inch FullView display. It gives the device a modern look not unlike most flagship smartphones this year.
The display also has a 19:9 aspect ratio, rounded corners and an HD+ resolution or 720 x 1520 pixels for a pixel density of 271 pixels per inch.
Realme is a sub-brand of OPPO, similar to the arrangement of Honor and Huawei. This means that the quality of Realme phones is the same as OPPO phones.
Hence, if you like OPPO smartphones but find them a bit out of reach in terms of price, Realme is the perfect alternative. In fact, the Realme C1 and the OPPO A3s have very few differences except for the price.
