The Realme 3 smartphone has been officially launched in the Philippines promising great gaming and photography at an affordable price.
It features a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC and a Nightscape camera. The latter uses multiple exposures and software techniques to produce bright images at night — something that’s only found in more expensive flagship smartphones until now.
The Realme 3 variant in the Philippines is powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 SoC.
It has four 2.0GHz Cortex-A73 CPU cores, another four Cortex-A53 CPU cores running at the same speed and a Mali-G72 graphics processor.
There’s also 3GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage and the new ColorOS 6.0 software which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.
The Realme 3 has a dual rear camera setup composed of a 13 Megapixel main camera and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor.
It has a pretty wide f/1.8 aperture, AI scene recognition and slow-motion video capture. Two camera modes make it more special though: Nightscape and Chroma Boost.
While Nightscape make low light images appear sharper and brighter, Chroma Boost improves dynamic range and makes color more vivid.
The official price of the Realme 3 smartphone in the Philippines is ₱6,990 for the online exclusive 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM version.
Meanwhile, the 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM versions will be available in retail stores for ₱7,990 and ₱9,990 respectively.
The first online sale is on March 25 at 12 midnight. Meanwhile, the pre-order period for the other variants starts on March 30.
