Huawei achieved a major milestone yesterday when the HERE WeGo app became available on the Huawei AppGallery.
HERE WeGo is a navigation app originally developed by Nokia for the Windows Phone OS. It later spawned into an independent mapping company called Here Technologies making its way to Android, iOS, and Amazon devices.
What’s makes HERE WeGo a big deal for Huawei is its set of features that are comparable to Google Maps. The company is still prohibited from pre-installing Google apps on its new smartphones and finding an alternative navigation app is hard.

Since HERE WeGo has been officially released on the Huawei AppGallery, all Huawei smartphones can now download the app. This is especially useful for Huawei smartphones running on HMS instead of GMS.
