OPPO Philippines launched the new OPPO Reno4 smartphone in the Philippines on Friday, August 14, 2020.
It features a refreshed design with a more conspicuous camera module and a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display with dual punch-hole for the selfie cameras. It comes in two color variants – Space Black and Galactic Blue.
The OPPO Reno4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset with a 2.3GHz octa-core CPU, Adreno 618 graphics processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage. As usual, it uses the ColorOS 7.2 user interface which runs on top of Android 10.
For photography, the device has a quad-camera setup at the back and a single 32 Megapixel selfie camera. The rear cameras include a 48 Megapixel main camera, 8 Megapixel ultra-wide camera, 2 Megapixel macro camera, and another 2 Megapixel monochrome camera.
It comes with several shooting modes including Night Flare portrait, Ultra Dark Mode, 960 fps slow motion, and 4K video recording. It even has its own video editing app called Soloop.
The OPPO Reno4 has an under-display fingerprint scanner for security and supports face unlock using its front camera. There’s also dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
It has a large 4,015mAh battery with the company’s own VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology with a 30W charging rate.
The official price of the OPPO Reno4 in the Philippines is ₱18,990.00. The pre-order period for the device is from August 15 to 21, 2020, with freebies worth up to ₱7,899.00.
