vivo Philippines launched a new budget-friendly gaming smartphone in the Philippines – the vivo Y20s [G].

It’s the brand’s answer to the increasing popularity of mobile gaming while most Filipinos are staying at home. The device is packed with upgraded specs and features but priced fairly and competitively.

Design, Display & Triple Cameras

The power button of the vivo Y20s [G] also serves as a fingerprint scanner.

The vivo Y20s [G] flaunts a 6.51-inch HD+ display in a slim body with slightly curved 2.5D edges and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner making it more comfortable to use.

For photography, it has a triple rear camera matrix composed of a 13 Megapixel main camera, 2 Megapixel macro camera, and 2 Megapixel depth sensor. This is complemented by an 8 Megapixel selfie camera located in a small screen notch on the front.

It comes in two color options – Obsidian Black and Purist Blue.

The vivo Y20s [G] is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 gaming chipset with a 2.0GHz octa-core CPU and 950Mhz Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processor. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage which is ample for multi-tasking and storing photos, videos, and huge game files.

Since online games are more popular than offline ones, the vivo Y20s [G] is also equipped with Cat-7 4G LTE connectivity and supports 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.

These specs are optimized to handle mobile games like Mobile Legends, Call of Duty Mobile, and PUBG Mobile. A software feature called “Ultra Game Mode” will further optimize the device before each gaming session.
