Budding smartphone vendor Ding Ding Mobile has finally launched the Iron 2 smartphone with the same tough build but better specs than its predecessor.
It’s a 5-inch smartphone with a scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and metallic frame. These make it tough enough to smash nuts and even function as a hammer which is admittedly a great marketing tactic.
The Ding Ding Iron 2 is powered by a quad core processor from MediaTek, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4.4 Kitkat as the operating system.
A 13MP Sony camera at the back and 5MP front snapper handles photography for the Iron 2. Contrary to what we said in a previous article, this one has an HD display.
There’s 8GB of built-in storage, non-removable 2200mAh battery and support for USB OTG. A better variant called Ding Ding Iron 2 Plus is also available with double the amount of RAM and storage.
Its official price is ₱5,399 and comes with a free jelly case. You can purchase Ding Ding smartphones at SKK Mobile outlets throughout the country.
