One measure of a smartphone’s popularity is how often it is searched on Google. As expected, the new iPhones topped the list in 2017.
The Huawei Nova 2i got the third spot most probably due to its headlining features of having quad cameras. Meanwhile, OPPO got the fourth and fifth spots with the new OPPO F5 and the still sought after OPPO F1s.

Samsung’s affordable smartphones, the Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J7 Prime are still more famous that its flagship models at the sixth and eighth spots respectively.
HMD Global’s Nokia 6 got the seventh spot while the revived Nokia 3310 got the last spot in the top 10. That speaks volumes with Filipinos’ love for the Finnish brand.
Lastly, OPPO got the ninth place with their OPPO F3. This makes the company the most talked about smartphone brand in the Philippines!
