Another affordable smartphone under the Flare series was revealed by Cherry Angel – the Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Lite.
It’s a 5-inch smartphone with a quad core processor, 1GB of RAM and the same faux-leather design from other Flare S3 variants for a little less than ₱3,000.
Compared with the original Flare S3, the Flare S3 Lite has the same screen size, processor, amount of RAM, internal storage, design and battery capacity.
However, its screen is not scratch resistant nor has One Glass Solution (OGS) technology. It has a higher resolution though at 720p or HD compared to the former’s 540p or qHD screen.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Lite has also has a toned down camera at 8MP although the front snapper maintains its 5MP resolution. It also lacks USB OTG functionality.
Despite its shortcomings, the Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Lite is still a good smartphone for its price of only ₱2,999.00.
