SKK Mobile has slashed off a huge chunk of the SKK V2’s price tag. You can now own this LG G2 look-alike for ₱3,999 from its ₱4,999 original SRP.
The SKK V2 is a 5-inch quad core smartphone with 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera from Sony, heart rate monitor, very thin bezels and on the back placement of its power and volume buttons.
The SKK V2 runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box but you can upgrade it to a newer version (4.4.4) via over-the-air update. SKK also teases an Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone but we’re doubtful if the SKK V2 will receive a Lollipop update.
It comes with 8GB of onboard storage and a microSD card slot capable of reading up to 64GB memory cards. It supports gesture controls too and a 2,500mAh battery powers the device.
The best features of the SKK V2 are its design, performance and extra features such as the heart rate monitor at the back. However, I wasn’t totally impressed by its camera.
