Android 5.0 Lollipop – that’s the next big thing for local smartphone companies here in the Philippines. SKK Mobile aims to be the first to offer this latest version of Android by teasing a new smartphone.
Based on the teasers, this might be called as the SKK Infinity X and have an octa core processor, 5-inch screen, good battery life and of course, run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
Other local brands have also teased Android 5.0 Lollipop before. CloudFone is working on software update for its current smartphones while Cherry Mobile has new models which are upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop such as the Cherry Mobile Cosmos One Plus.
Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with a new design language from Google called Material Design that makes the user interface not just better looking but also more intuitive, fluid and easy to use.
SKK Mobile also highlights the 8.9mm thickness of this Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone. It’s not really that thin so we’re hoping that this will pack a battery with more than 3,000mAh capacity.
We’ll update you once SKK Mobile reveals more about this smartphone.
