Huawei unveiled the Huawei MateBook 13 laptop at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2019) in Las Vegas.
It’s an ultra-portable laptop that rivals the Apple MacBook Air in terms of design and performance. As the name suggests, it has a 13-inch multi-touch display with slim bezels and a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels.
The Huawei MateBook 13 is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU, 8GB of RAM and a 42Wh battery. An affordable variant with Intel Core i5 is also available.
It also has a fingerprint sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi, 1MP webcam, either 256GB or 512GB of SSD storage, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack and two USB Type-C ports. A USB Type-C to USB Type-C, HDMI and VGA adaptor comes with every purchase of the device.
Pricing for the Huawei MateBook 13 starts at $999 with two color options – silver and gray. No word on official availability in the Philippines though.
