Cherry Angel, the Cherry Mobile retailer who first broke out the news about the Cherry Mobile Excalibur shared some unboxing, hands on and sample pictures of the newest octa core smartphone from CM.
The Cherry Mobile Excalibur certainly piques our interest with its Gorilla Glass front and back panels, Sony made camera and slightly underpowered octa core processor.

Unboxing the Cherry Mobile Excalibur |
Taking the Cherry Mobile Excalibur from its box reveals a usual package – the smartphone itself, earphones, charger, USB data cord and a user manual.
The battery is already inside the unit – a non-removable 1,920mAh battery which is often cited as its weakest point.

The 5-inch HD IPS display of the Cherry Mobile Excalibur is protected by a scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass layer. The back panel also has this scratch resistant layer making it scratch resistant and feel premium when held.
You can also see the SIM and microSD card trays.

Another very interesting feature of the Cherry Mobile Excalibur is its camera. The main one is an 8MP snapper with a Sony BSI sensor and f/2.0 apperture.
The front one is labelled as 5MP but as far as we know, it’s just an interpolated 2MP. It can still be relied on to produce great selfies though.
