Xiaomi’s first smartphone offering for Filipinos is the Xiaomi Mi 3. It’s a 5-inch Snapdragon 800 phone with a 13MP camera and 2GB of RAM priced aggressively at ₱10,599!
Xiaomi Mi 3 is one of the most beautiful Android phones inside and out with its Magnesium alloy frame, laser-cut speaker grills and MIUI version 5 operating system.

The Mi 3 is one the world’s fastest smartphone due to its 2.3GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 graphics processor and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
It also has a stunning display with very high touch sensitivity, pixel density and viewing angle. That’s a full HD screen with IPS, Retina resolution and OGS technology. It even has an anti-glare coating that preserves the quality of the display in direct sunlight.

Turn on the Mi 3 and you’ll be greeted with the MIUI v5. It’s a customized Android 4.4 Kitkat with a very clean user interface and countless additional features.
At the back of the Mi 3, a 13MP camera snaps high quality pictures using a CMOS sensor, f/2.2 aperture and a Phillips dual-LED flash.
There’s also a 2MP front camera to take care of your selfies.

Unlike China, the Philippines will only have the 16GB version of the Xiaomi Mi 3. There’s no microSD card slot on the Mi 3 so you should be contented with this.
It also means we won’t be enjoying 4G LTE connectivity with this smartphone. Nevertheless, 3G HSPA+ is available which will still give its users high speed mobile internet.
Xiaomi Mi 3 comes with 5GHz Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Display, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with GLONASS. That’s a lot of wireless connectivity options and even supports USB OTG!
