What’s the difference?
MyPhone Rio was such a huge hit that the local company decided to introduce a smaller version called MyPhone Rio Lite.
However, the difference between the features of original Rio and Lite seems to be a little bit more than the 1k difference between their prices.

MyPhone Rio Lite Features
MyPhone Rio Lite runs on a quad core processor from MediaTek too but with only 512MB of RAM. This is its biggest drawback since this will surely give a mediocre performance compared to other local quad core phones at the same price level.
It also has a slightly smaller screen at 4.7 inches. The camera comes at 3MP lesser too.
One thing that MyPhone Rio Lite does best than its big brother is that it can install apps directly to the SD card. MyPhone Rio users got very angry over a bug that prevents them from doing the same.
