Hello guys! I hope you’re all safe and healthy. Another month has gone by and it’s time to check the top 10 smartphones in the Philippines based on the pageviews of individual smartphone specs pages on Pinoy Techno Guide.
Google Analytics recorded more than 2.2 million pageviews in July 2020 with around 1.3 million landing on smartphone pages. To get an accurate measure of popularity, I filtered this data to organic views from the Philippines only and excluded traffic from Facebook.

As you can see on the list, realme Philippines still has the most smartphone models in the top 10. This includes the realme 6i in the first place, realme 5i in second place, the realme C3 in third place, realme 6 in fourth place, and realme 6 Pro in sixth place.
The company has been doing the product design, specs, pricing, and marketing right and their efforts are paying off for quite some time now. Congratulations to realme Philippines!
Meanwhile, OPPO Philippines has two smartphone models in the list and both are new. One is the OPPO A12 in fifth place and the other is the more affordable OPPO A12e. I think the OPPO A5s that has been a part of the list for over a year is now retiring for good.
Huawei Philippines also has two smartphone models in the list – the affordable Huawei Y6p and the more feature-packed Huawei nova 7i. It’s remarkable how Huawei remained in the top 10 despite the challenges it’s currently facing.
Lastly, Xiaomi Philippines has a single entry in the list – the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. Many Mi fans are questioning the rankings I publish each month but other Xiaomi smartphones actually make it to the 11th – 20th places.
That’s it for this month’s top 10 smartphones. See you again next month!
