How to Connect to 3G Network Using Starmobile Engage 7 3G
Starmobile Engage 7 3G has a single slim slot that can hold any SIM if the unit does not come from any plan. The Engage 7 3G with a mobile can then be used to make and receive calls, send and receive text messages and access the internet via 3G network or whatever that’s available.
You can access the 3G network by going to the Android pull down menu and enabling the Data Access option. You can also go to the Settings to enable 3G connectivity.
Starmobile Engage 7 3G with Digital Mobile TV
Just like the previous tablet released by Starmobile, Engage 7 TV, Engage 7 3G also features a digital mobile TV receiver. Since it is digital, it captures TV signals more efficiently compared to the analog counterpart used by other phones and tablets.
While playing your favorite TV program, there are options in the TV app of Starmobile Engage 7 3G that lets you change the settings of the video like brightness and contrast. You can even pause the TV and take snapshots of the program.
Starmobile Engage 7 3G has Slightly Lower Specs but with a Lot of Features
When you try to browse the specs sheet of Starmobile Engage 7 3G above, it sure has lesser specs than the tablets offered by other local brands. However, the selling point of Engage 7 3G is its features like the 3G capability and mobile TV. While it doesn’t offer a quad core processor, it provides a lot of entertainment factor to its users.
Starmobile Engage 7 3G runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich using a 1 GHz processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM. This combination is fine but it does not offer enough power to play resource intensive games like Need for Speed or NOVA.
