OPPO Philippines is launching the OPPO Reno8 Series of smartphones in the country on September 1, 2022.
It features a “streamlined” unibody design, 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with Ultra-Night video, 80W ultra-fast charging, and 5G connectivity. There are several variants in the series but the brand’s promotional materials indicate the OPPO Reno8 5G as the headliner.

The OPPO Reno8 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset with 8GB of RAM and features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and a Gorilla Glass 5 scratch protection.
There’s also an under-display fingerprint scanner, 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and a 4,500mAh dual-battery setup.
It will be available in Shimmer Black and Shimmer Gold color options with the “OPPO Glow” finish.
